How does Quality Tuitions select a suitable tutor for me?


We select the most suitable tutor for you based on your preferences. This can include factors like budget, venue, minimum tutor qualifications…etc. To the best of our ability, we will match you with the best tutors.

Am I charged for this service?


No. This service is absolutely free and you only need pay the normal tuition fees. The commission fees are borne by the tutors. You are however, required to pay 50% of the first month’s tuition fees to the agency. The remaining 50% will be paid to the tutor. For subsequent months, you pay the full amount of the tuition fees to the tutor directly.

When do I pay the fees?


For the first month, you pay 50% of the tuition fees 2 weeks after the first lesson. You pay the remaining 50% to the tutor at the end of the month.

If I am dissatisfied with the tutor assigned, can I request for a change?


Yes. Contact us immediately and we will get you a new tutor. You still however, need to pay the tutor for the completed lessons.

If you decide to change tutors before the first month, then please pay the tutor only 50% of the fees for the lessons completed. The remaining 50% will be paid to the agency.

Yes. Your personal particulars are kept with the strictest of confidence and will not be revealed, sold or traded to third parties.

Is there a commission fee?


Yes. The commission fee is 50% of the first month’s tuition fees. You will therefore receive only 50% of the tuition fees in the first month. For subsequent months however, you will be paid the full tuition fee.

How long am I expected to commit?


Most parents and students want a tutor that can stay for the long-term (unless they decide to terminate you!). This is usually about one academic year.

If for some reason you cannot commit to teach that long (e.g. exchange programme, enlisting into NS), please have the courtesy to inform the students or their parents before you commence the tuition.

Please be responsible also and find an equally capable substitute to teach in your absence.

You can also inform the agency and we will arrange for a new tutor to take over.

What if I need to terminate an assignment?


We treat our tutors as humans. If for any personal reason you wish to discontinue the tuition, we respect your decision. You will still be paid for the lessons that were completed.

However, please have the courtesy to inform the student or their parents as early as possible.

If you decide to discontinue the tuition before the end of the first month, the 50% commission will be levied only on the lessons that were conducted.
